honest review: 111 skin eye lift gel nac y2

In December, I was doing my makeup as I always do, and when putting on eyeshadow, I noticed that when I moved the brush on my skin, instead of bouncing back to where it was before, it kind of just stayed where I pushed it. I also noticed that there seemed to be much more skin than I was used to having (GASP!). Naturally, I was shocked and dismayed, realizing that Father Time had arrived and chosen my EYES as his starting point. Not the eyes, anything but the eyes! Then I zoomed out and looked in my cabinet and realized that I didn't have any products that promised to lift the skin around the eyes, only brighten and firm. It was clear that it was time to find a suitable solution.

I never really believed in eye cream because I guess I didn’t need it, but now I do, so... off to the races. After some polling and a little research, I got my hands on 111SKIN Eye Lift Gel NAC Y2.

THE PROMISE: "Inspired by the transformative effects of plastic surgery, the Eye Lift Gel NAC Y2TM targets the delicate skin around the eye with a carefully balanced blend of actives known to lift, de-puff, and protect. Formulated by Dr. Yannis Alexandrides to tackle the most common concerns he sees at 111 Harley Street, he dubs this 'The Ultimate Eye Gel.' The product’s visible lifting effect is achieved through the use of an expression-freezing Hexapeptide called Argireline. This potent active weakens the skin’s ability to contract and speeds up its relaxation time, minimizing the appearance of fine lines and making it an effective needle-free alternative to filler.”

THE INGREDIENTS: “This product is powered by NAC Y2TM to help promote the production of glutathione - the body’s master antioxidant - and protect against free radical damage. 111SKIN's signature complex also helps to improve elasticity for firmer, smoother skin. The addition of Argireline helps to lift and sculpt the under-eye area, minimizing the appearance of fine lines, while our Bi-functional Caffeine Complex targets signs of tiredness.”
